Electrical Maintenance Supervisors Required for Algerian Qatari Steel (LCP & MHS)
Algerian Qatari Steel urgently requires experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisors for its Lime Plant and Material Handling Systems. This is an exceptional opportunity for professionals with steel industry experience to join a leading organization in Algeria.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical maintenance within material handling systems and lime plants.
- Expertise in handling equipment such as stacker reclaimers and ship unloaders is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems related to material handling equipment, including stacker reclaimers and ship unloaders.
- Troubleshoot and repair VFDs, instrumentation, and control systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Program, configure, and maintain Siemens S7 PLC systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement upgrades and modifications to existing systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and testing of electrical equipment to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all maintenance procedures.
Technical Skills Required:
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining VFDs and instrumentation.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming, particularly Siemens S7.
- Familiarity with electrical schematics and control diagrams.
- Problem-solving skills: Ability to diagnose complex electrical issues effectively and implement solutions promptly.
- Strong commitment to safety practices and adherence to industry regulations.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
