Client Interview Details

  • Dates: 14th to 18th February 2025
  • Location: Mumbai

Job Categories and Responsibilities

1. Aboveground Piping Works

  • Roles: Site Engineer, Site Supervisor, Site Foreman, Site Manager
  • Responsibilities:
    • Oversee piping installation, including testing and re-instatement.
    • Manage insulation works, lifting, and equipment erection activities.

2. Test Package

  • Roles: Site Engineer, Site Supervisor, Site Foreman, Site Manager
  • Responsibilities:
    • Distribute test packages to Inspectors and Line Checkers for site confirmation and verification.

3. Painting & Insulation

  • Roles: Site Engineer, Site Supervisor, Site Foreman, Site Manager
  • Responsibilities:
    • Apply paint, stains, and coatings to walls or ceilings.
    • Insulate plumbing, heating, cooling systems, and pressure vessels to reduce heat transfer and enhance safety.

4. Heavy Lifting

  • Roles: Site Engineer, Site Supervisor, Site Foreman, Site Manager
  • Responsibilities:
    • Ensure the safe operation and working of contractor’s lifting equipment, tools, and tackles.

5. Equipment Erection

  • Roles: Site Engineer, Site Supervisor, Site Foreman, Site Manager
  • Responsibilities:
    • Oversee assembly and installation of machinery, including Blast Furnaces, Rolling Mills, and Conveyors.

6. Planning

  • Roles: Discipline Planner (Technical Office Primavera Engineer/AWP Technical Office Planning Engineer)
  • Responsibilities:
    • Manage advanced work packages in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) and Construction Groups.

7. Steel Structure (Steel Erection Works)

  • Roles: Site Engineer, Site Supervisor, Site Foreman, Site Manager
  • Responsibilities:
    • Supervise steel structure fabrication and erection.
    • Ensure adherence to design and safety standards (AISC, AWS D1.1, BS5950).
    • Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, and welding teams.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or related fields.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 5 years in Oil & Gas Refinery or Industrial Plant Construction.
    • Gulf experience preferred.
