MAINTENANCE PLANNER REQUIRED FOR GAS PLANT – QATAR
Education/ Experience:
Diploma/ BE in Mech, Minimum 5+ years into Maintenance Planning & Scheduling, using SAP, in Oil & Gas/ PetroChemical Industries.
Primary Duties:
Develops detailed plans with the sequence of activities that define a required scope of work, which include site preparations, material, manpower, and vendor requirements.
Job Specific Requirements: • Proficient in SAP planning transactions. • Understand Maintenance Business Process. • Plan different online and offline jobs based on Operational requirements. • Read material specifications and understands specific material requirements • Read P&IDs, drawings, and different technical documents. • Prepare complete Work packs, with all the required tasks, drawings, material details, etc.
Duties/ Responsibilities: • Develops detailed plans with the sequence of activities that define a required scope of work for all P3 and P4 work orders. • Plan is broken down into logical tasks with resources related to materials, procurement, tools, equipment, labor, contracts and logistics requirements. • Performs daily review of new notifications to ensure the information is sufficient for planning purposes and provides insight for realistic TFUC • Checks and requests cancellation of identified duplicate work orders for similar work on the same equipment/functional location. • Confirms all associated costs are captured in the work order prior to sending for approval. • Notification Pre-RBWS review and support the LACD amendment process • Follows up on procurement status and ETA • Raises MDG that are not listed or are incorrect in the SAP BOM • Prepares MRS for surplus/unused materials to be returned to the warehouse. • Maximizes campaigning activities and services • Facilitates the monthly PM review process, 12 weeks ahead of the schedule, and prepares PM plans. • Maintains the library of SAP PM task lists which are set up and continuously updates the task lists for routine and major repetitive works. • Ensures safety of personnel and equipment through compliance with Company’s Environmental Health and Safety policies, procedures and standards. • Participates in on-the-job training of assigned Qatari developees, monitors their progress and makes recommendations on how to support their learning and progression.
