Zamil Shipyards is urgently seeking experienced professionals for the following positions. Client interviews will be held in Mumbai on 6th April 2025. ECNR Passport holders preferred. Immediate Departure. Visa Ready.
Available Positions:
- Composite Laminator
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in FRP composite boat building, commercial and/or military shipbuilding and/or repairs.
- Ability to build boats as per specifications and drawings.
- Familiarity with composite boat building techniques and methods.
- Should be able to work with infusion technology.
- Knowledge about composite boat building materials such as fiberglass, resins, and cores.
- Basic knowledge of molds, plugs, and tube fittings.
- Ability to cut and prepare fiberglass and cores.
- Knowledge of mixing and application of resins and fibers.
- Adherence to quality control procedures.
- Diesel Mechanic
- Minimum 2 years of experience in shipyards with any Technical School / Vocational certificate.
- Ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain marine diesel engines and related systems.
- Conduct routine inspections, troubleshooting, and overhauls on ship machinery.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Maintain records of repairs, servicing, and parts inventory.
- Operate diagnostic tools to assess engine performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineers and ship crews for optimal engine performance.
- Marine Mechanic
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the Oil & Gas or Marine industry.
- Technical School / Vocational certification in Diesel and Gasoline Engines and Marine Equipment Mechanic.
- Experience in installation and repair of a variety of mechanical shipboard systems.
- Ability to repair, troubleshoot, and maintain diesel and gasoline engines and other marine equipment.
- Inspect, repair, and maintain marine engines, propulsion systems, and hydraulics.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues in vessels.
