These jobs are mainly suitable for candidates with technical qualifications, professional certifications and previous shutdown or process plant experience.
1. Multi-Discipline NDT Technician
The Multi-Discipline NDT Technician position requires a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
Candidates should have:
- Minimum 5 years of NDT experience
- PCN/ASNT Level II in UT, MPI and DPI
- PCN 3.2 Plate & Pipe preferred
- Relevant qualification held for at least 5 years
- Experience in at least 10 major shutdowns
- ORYX GTL PTW Level-2 certification
This role is suitable for experienced NDT professionals who have worked on major Oil & Gas shutdown projects.
2. PTW Level-2 Permit Receiver
Candidates applying for the PTW Level-2 Permit Receiver position should have a Diploma or industry certificate in a relevant trade.
The job requires at least 5 years of process plant experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
Applicants should have experience with PTW systems and shutdown activities. Good English and MS Office knowledge are required, along with the ability to successfully complete ORYX GTL PTW Level-2 training.
3. Document Controller / AutoCAD Draftsman
This position requires a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
Candidates should be proficient in:
- AutoCAD
- MS Office
- Visio
- SharePoint
- P&ID drawings
- Piping isometric drawings
- Equipment drawings
Previous shutdown or GTL process experience is preferred.
4. Normal UT / Phased Array Jobs
The recruitment includes separate opportunities for Lead Operators and Assistant Operators.
For the Lead Operator role, candidates need at least 7 years of inspection experience, including more than 2 years as a Lead Operator.
Assistant Operators should have at least 5 years of inspection experience, including 2 years as an operator.
Relevant ASNT/PCN Level II certification is required for lead positions, while assistant positions require ASNT/PCN Level I.
5. VBT – Vacuum Box Testing
The Vacuum Box Testing position requires a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Candidates should have a minimum of 7 years of experience, including at least 5 years of post-qualification experience.
An ASNT Level II / ISO 9712 Leak Testing certification is required. Experience in hydrocarbon processing plants will be an advantage.
6. PMI – Positive Material Identification
PMI positions are available for experienced operators. Lead Operators should have more than 2 years of lead experience and at least 5 years of PMI experience.
Candidates should have:
- ASNT Level II Visual Testing certification
- PMI equipment manufacturer or third-party training certification
- Minimum 5 years holding the relevant qualification
7. Hardness Testing Jobs
The Hardness Testing position requires a Lead Operator with more than 2 years of lead experience and at least 5 years of Hardness Testing experience.
Candidates should hold ASNT Level II Visual Testing certification and relevant equipment manufacturer or third-party training certification. The relevant qualification should have been held for at least 5 years.
