A leading multinational cement plant company is hiring experienced professionals for a long-term project in Sulaymaniyah, Kurdistan Region, Iraq. The recruitment includes senior positions in accounting, plant control, process engineering, mechanical inspection, asset integrity, procurement and contracts.
These opportunities are suitable for experienced professionals with backgrounds in cement manufacturing, heavy industry, process operations, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, finance and industrial procurement.

1. Head of Accounting – AP, AR & GL
Experience: 8–10 years
Qualification: CA/ICAI, CMA or ACCA
The Head of Accounting position is designed for experienced finance professionals with strong accounting and manufacturing-sector experience.
Candidates should have strong knowledge of SAP FI. Experience in manufacturing or the cement industry is preferred. Managerial experience of around three or more years is also listed as a preferred requirement.
2. Plant Controller
Experience: 7+ years
Qualification: CMA/ICMAI or CA
Plant Controller candidates should have experience in plant or manufacturing operations and strong knowledge of financial and cost control.
Relevant areas include costing, budgeting, variance analysis, fuel and power costs, inventory and fixed assets. Cement industry experience and strong SAP CO knowledge are preferred.
3. Process Engineer
Experience: 8+ years
Qualification: BE/BTech Chemical or Process
The Process Engineer position is intended for professionals experienced in cement process and production operations.
Candidates should have knowledge of pyro-process optimization, DCS and process systems. Experience with commissioning activities is preferred.
4. Mechanical Inspection Engineer
Experience: 7+ years
Qualification: BE/BTech Mechanical
Mechanical Inspection Engineers should have experience in cement mechanical systems and industrial inspection.
The role requires knowledge of NDT, vibration, alignment and lubrication. Familiarity with ASNT Level II, ISO 18436 and API/ASME standards is listed as an advantage.
5. Asset Integrity Engineer – Mechanical
Experience: 8–10 years
Qualification: BE/BTech Mechanical
The Mechanical Asset Integrity Engineer position is suitable for professionals with experience in cement or heavy-process industries.
Experience with RCM/FMEA and RCA is preferred. Candidates with strong asset integrity and reliability engineering backgrounds can apply.
6. Asset Integrity Engineer – Electrical
Experience: 8–10 years
Qualification: BE/BTech Electrical
Electrical Asset Integrity Engineers should have experience in cement or heavy industry environments.
Knowledge of HV/MV systems, automation and instrumentation is considered an advantage for this position.
7. Procurement & Contracts Officer
Experience: 7+ years
Qualification: BE/BTech or Business/Supply Chain Degree
The Procurement & Contracts Officer position is suitable for professionals with industrial procurement experience.
Candidates with experience in cement or heavy manufacturing procurement are preferred. Knowledge of SAP MM and CIPS is also an advantage.
