UAE Marine and Shipyard Jobs 2026 – Available Vacancies
Diesel Mechanics / Mechanical Fitters / Mechanical Technicians
Candidates are required for work involving dismantling, inspection, calibration, assembly, repair and troubleshooting of main and auxiliary engines, fuel equipment, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, heat exchangers, deck machinery, valves and other engine-room equipment.
Electrical Technician
The role involves installation, testing, maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems, motors, generators, control panels, sensors and marine or industrial electrical equipment.
Hydraulic / Pneumatic Technician
Candidates will be responsible for servicing, overhauling and troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic components, including pumps, valves, actuators, piping and associated systems.
Supervisor – Mechanical
Mechanical supervisors will oversee repair and overhauling activities involving main engines, auxiliary engines, fuel equipment, pumps and compressors. The position also involves manpower allocation, work planning, safety, quality and timely completion.
Supervisor – Electrical
The Electrical Supervisor will oversee electrical installation, maintenance, testing and troubleshooting activities, while coordinating manpower, work planning, quality and safety requirements.
Candidate Requirements
Candidates should ideally possess ITI, Diploma or relevant technical qualifications in their respective trade. Experience in marine, ship repair, shipyard, heavy engineering, industrial maintenance or diesel engine environments is preferred.
Experience with marine diesel engines, engine overhauling, pumps, compressors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and industrial machinery will be an advantage.
Supervisory candidates should have proven experience managing technical teams and coordinating maintenance or repair activities.
Applicants should also have good knowledge of workplace safety, tools, equipment and maintenance procedures. Candidates must be physically fit and willing to work overtime and undertake project, onboard or field assignments when required.
