Available Positions
1. Diesel Generator Technician
Diesel Generator Technicians are responsible for inspecting, maintaining, servicing, and troubleshooting diesel generator systems and associated electrical equipment.
Key responsibilities:
- Diagnose electrical faults in diesel generators.
- Carry out generator servicing, maintenance, and electrical repairs.
- Perform generator load testing.
- Inspect electrical protection systems and generator controllers.
- Troubleshoot Automatic Voltage Regulators (AVR).
- Monitor generator performance and identify potential faults.
- Maintain generator operating records and follow safety procedures.
Required qualifications and experience:
- Diploma or graduate qualification in Electrical Engineering through a full-time course.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with generator sets and electrical distribution systems.
- Gulf experience is mandatory.
- Knowledge of generator models, controllers, and electrical troubleshooting.
2. Diesel Generator Mechanic
Diesel Generator Mechanics are responsible for maintaining and repairing generator engines and their mechanical components to ensure reliable operation.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance of diesel generators.
- Inspect engine components and identify mechanical faults.
- Carry out generator maintenance and overhaul activities.
- Monitor lubrication, cooling, and operating temperature systems.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and assist with repairs.
- Follow maintenance schedules and workplace safety procedures.
Required qualifications and experience:
- Relevant technical qualifications and practical generator maintenance experience.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, as specified for the vacancies.
- Gulf experience is mandatory.
