Russia Shipyard Jobs 2026: Welders, Fabricators, Fitters & Spray Painters
A leading shipbuilding and ship repair company in Russia is recruiting skilled Indian workers for a long-term project. Applications are open for FCAW (MIG) Welders, Ship Hull Fabricators, Ship Hull Fitters and Airless Spray Painters.
Client interviews are scheduled at the Seagull International Mumbai office from 2 November to 6 November 2026. Candidates with relevant shipbuilding and shipyard experience can attend with their updated CV and passport.
Available Job Vacancies in Russia
The following positions are available:
1. FCAW (MIG) Welders – 3G/4G
- Welding position: 3G/4G.
- Minimum 6 months of welding experience in shipbuilding companies.
- For the higher-grade category, 2–3 years of shipyard experience as a welder in shipbuilding companies is required.
2. Ship Hull Fabricators
- Minimum 6 months of experience as a metal ship hull fitter/fabricator in shipbuilding companies.
- Relevant shipyard experience is required.
3. Ship Hull Fitters
- Minimum 6 months of experience as a metal ship hull fitter in shipbuilding companies.
- Candidates should have relevant shipbuilding experience.
4. Airless Spray Painters
- Minimum 6 months of experience as a ship painter in shipbuilding companies.
- Practical experience in airless spray painting is required.
Educational Qualification
Candidates should have any of the following qualifications:
- 10th Pass
- 12th Pass
- ITI
- Diploma
Relevant technical qualifications and practical shipyard experience will be important for the selected trade.
Salary for Russia Shipyard Jobs
The salary structure is mentioned by grade:

| 2nd Grade | RUB 70,000 |
| 3rd Grade | RUB 80,000 |
Overtime payment is extra.
For the 2nd grade, Indian work experience is required. For the 3rd-grade welder category, at least 2–3 years of shipyard experience as a welder in shipbuilding companies is required.
Candidates should confirm the applicable grade and salary for their particular trade during the selection process.
Working Hours and Benefits
Working schedule:
- Five working days per week.
- 36 working hours per week.
- One-hour lunch break.
- Saturday and Sunday weekly off.
