Ambe Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd. is inviting applications from experienced professionals for long-term job opportunities at the Basra Refinery Project in Iraq. The available positions include Subcontract Engineer, Material Controller, PC Operator, and Rigger Foreman.

Available Job Vacancies in Iraq
1. Subcontract Engineer
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related field is preferred.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction projects.
Required Skills and Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in English communication.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to use AI tools effectively for work-related tasks.
- Relevant experience in construction project coordination and subcontract management.
- Experience in refinery, oil and gas, or Middle East projects is preferred.
Candidates should have strong organizational skills and the ability to support project documentation and subcontract-related activities.
2. Material Controller
Experience: Minimum 3 years.
Required Skills and Responsibilities:
- Experience in warehouse operations, materials management, or inventory control.
- Familiarity with material receiving, inspection, storage, and issuance.
- Ability to maintain inventory records and perform stock reconciliation.
- Experience preparing materials reports and managing documentation.
- Background in refinery, petrochemical, oil and gas, EPC, or industrial projects is preferred.
- Middle East project experience is an advantage.
Candidates should be familiar with material tracking procedures and maintaining accurate warehouse records.
3. PC Operator
Experience: Minimum 3 years as a PC Operator, Computer Operator, Data Entry Operator, Administrator, or in a similar role.
Required Skills and Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to prepare periodic reports.
- Experience managing electronic filing systems.
- Good computer skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain records and support administrative activities.
Applicants should be comfortable handling office documentation, data entry, and computer-based reporting tasks.
4. Rigger Foreman
Qualification: Technical or vocational certificate in Mechanical, Industrial, Logistics, or a related discipline.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in rigging, lifting operations, material handling, warehouse operations, or heavy equipment activities.
At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or foreman role is required.
Required Skills and Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of safe lifting and rigging practices.
- Experience coordinating rigging crews and lifting operations.
- Understanding of risk assessments and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
- Familiarity with Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems.
- Ability to supervise workers and ensure compliance with site safety procedures.
- Experience in material handling and heavy equipment activities.
Candidates should have relevant practical experience and the ability to supervise lifting operations safely.
