Job Roles and Responsibilities
1. Steel Installer Lead Hand
The Steel Installer Lead Hand will coordinate steel installation activities at the power plant project. Responsibilities include supervising installation work, checking alignment, coordinating with other trades, following technical drawings, and ensuring compliance with workplace safety requirements.
2. HRSG Installer
Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) Installers will assist with installing and assembling HRSG components. Candidates should be familiar with industrial equipment installation, mechanical assembly, alignment, and power plant construction procedures.
3. HRSG Installer Lead Hand
Lead Hands will guide installation teams, distribute daily tasks, monitor progress, and coordinate with supervisors. Previous experience leading industrial installation crews is beneficial.
4. Pipefitter Lead Hand
Pipefitter Lead Hands will supervise piping installation, interpret technical drawings, coordinate pipe assembly, and ensure that work meets project specifications and safety standards.
5. Pipefitter
Pipefitters will measure, cut, prepare, fit, and assemble pipes according to engineering drawings. Experience with industrial piping systems and power plant projects is an advantage.
6. Pipe Welders
Pipe welders are required for three categories:
- P91 Pipe Welder: GTAW and SMAW welding processes.
- Stainless Steel Pipe Welder: GTAW and SMAW welding processes.
- Carbon Steel Pipe Welder: GTAW and SMAW welding processes.
Candidates should have relevant welding experience and be prepared to demonstrate their skills through any required welding qualification tests.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years of overseas work experience.
- Relevant experience in power plants, industrial construction, or mechanical installation.
- Practical knowledge of the trade being applied for.
- Ability to follow technical drawings, project procedures, and safety regulations.
- Relevant welding qualifications for specialized welding positions, where required.
