Apex Business Developer Enterprises is inviting applications for multiple QA/QC and technical positions for a mechanical project in Oman. The recruitment drive includes vacancies for QA managers, senior QA/QC engineers, welding engineers, civil inspectors, mechanical and welding inspectors, coating inspectors, electrical inspectors and other quality professionals.

Eligibility Criteria and Experience Requirements

Coastal onshore experience is mandatory for the listed positions. Candidates should carefully check the requirements for their preferred role before applying.

1. QA Manager

• Experience: 15 years in oil and gas projects, including 5 years of coastal onshore experience in the Middle East.
• Qualification: BE/BSc in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Welding, Electrical, Instrumentation or Civil Engineering.
• Certifications: IRCA/RABQSA Lead Assessor and CSWIP 3.1 or AWS-CWI, or accepted equivalents.

2. Senior QA/QC Engineer

• Experience: 12 years in oil and gas projects, including 2 years of management experience in quality management systems.
• Qualification: Graduate engineer in a relevant discipline.
• Certifications: CSWIP 3.1 or AWS-CWI, ASNT TC-1A RT Level II and IRCA/RABQSA Lead Assessor, or accepted equivalents.

3. Welding Engineer

• Experience: Minimum 6 years in oil and gas or petrochemical facilities, including coastal onshore experience.
• Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Welding Engineering or a Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering degree with IWE/EWE credentials.

4. QA/QC Engineer

• Experience: 8 years in oil and gas projects, including coastal onshore experience and quality system development experience.
• Qualification: Graduate engineer in a relevant discipline.
• Certifications: CSWIP 3.1 or AWS-CWI, ASNT TC-1A RT Level II and IRCA/RABQSA Lead Assessor, or equivalents.

5. Preservation Engineer

• Experience: 10 years in oil and gas, including 5 years of field-based maintenance experience.
• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

6. QC Inspector – Civil

• Experience: 4 years in civil construction, including coastal onshore experience.
• Qualification: HNC, HND or graduate qualification in Civil Engineering, or equivalent.

7. QC Inspector – GRE/HDPE

• Experience: At least 3 years as a GRE/GRP fitter or bonder, including coastal onshore experience, or 1 year as a supervisor.
• Qualification: HNC, HND or relevant craft training. Vendor training is preferred.

8. QC Inspector – Mechanical/Welding

• Experience: 4 years of inspection experience, including 2 years in oil and gas.
• Qualification: HNC, HND or graduate qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Welding or Metallurgy.
• Certifications: CSWIP 3.1/AWS or equivalent, ASNT/EN 473/PCN Level II for RT, PT, MT and UT, and BGAS Level 2 or equivalent.

9. QC Inspector – Coating

• Experience: 4 years of inspection experience, including 2 years in oil and gas.
• Qualification: HNC, HND or relevant craft training and trade certificate.
• Certifications: BGAS Painting Level 2 and NACE Coating Inspector Level 2, or equivalents.

10. QC Inspector – Instrument

• Experience: 4 years of instrumentation inspection experience.
• Qualification: HNC, HND or graduate qualification in Instrumentation, or equivalent.

11. QC Inspector – Electrical

• Experience: 4 years of electrical inspection experience.
• Qualification: HNC, HND or graduate qualification in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.

12. Preservation Technician

• Experience: 5 years in material management, including control, tracking and logistics.
• Qualification: College Diploma or HNC in Engineering.
• Additional Knowledge: MESC, DEP, company standards and international codes.

13. CCMS Administrator

• Experience: 8 years in project engineering or construction, including coastal onshore experience.
• Qualification: Engineering degree or diploma.

14. Explosion-Proof Equipment Inspector

• Experience: 8–10 years in electrical maintenance, including coastal onshore experience. Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Certifications: Applicable IECEx, EEHA or CompEx qualifications, as specified for the position.
