Nasser Overseas Consultants is recruiting experienced engineering professionals for a reputed oil and gas company in Oman. The vacancies are suitable for candidates with qualifications and experience in instrumentation, electronics, mechatronics, control systems, and industrial product sales.
The recruitment includes four positions with monthly salaries ranging from OMR 500 to OMR 900, depending on the role, qualifications, and experience. Shortlisting is in progress, and face-to-face interviews are expected to take place shortly.
Available Vacancies and Salary Details
1. Technical Support Engineer
Salary: OMR 500–600 per month
Candidates should hold a degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics and have experience working with control systems.
Eligibility and requirements:
- Degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics.
- Approximately 1–5 years of relevant experience.
- Practical knowledge of industrial control systems.
- Ability to provide technical assistance and troubleshoot equipment-related issues.
This position is suitable for engineering graduates with hands-on experience in control systems and technical support.
2. Inside Sales Engineer (FCV)
Salary: OMR 500–650 per month
Applicants should have an engineering degree in Instrumentation from a recognised university and experience in control valve applications.
Eligibility and requirements:
- Engineering degree in Instrumentation.
- 3–5 years of experience in control valve applications.
- Fisher product experience, including FF2 sizing tools, is preferred.
- Understanding of international company standards.
- Experience handling export projects, particularly for Middle Eastern customers.
Candidates with technical sales experience and strong product knowledge may be suitable for this role.
3. Control Valve Sales Engineer
Salary: OMR 600–700 per month
This position is intended for experienced professionals with expertise in control valves and industrial product sales.
Eligibility and requirements:
- 8–10 years of proven experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of control valves.
- Background in industrial product sales.
- Ability to support customers and manage technical sales activities.
Relevant experience in industrial sales and control valve applications is essential.
4. Senior Technical Support Engineer
Salary: OMR 700–900 per month
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation and Control, Electronics Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
Eligibility and requirements:
- 6–10 years of experience in DCS/SIS systems.
- Hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV.
- At least five years of site-based commissioning or start-up experience.
- Experience completing at least two projects from pre-commissioning through handover.
This role is suitable for senior engineers with substantial experience in control systems and industrial project commissioning.
