Key Responsibilities
As a Melt-Shop Section Head in Quality Control, your responsibilities will include:

Required Skills and Expertise
Applicants must possess strong technical and analytical skills along with industry experience. The following competencies are essential:
- In-depth knowledge of rolling mill processes and their impact on product quality
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 standards
- Experience working with SAP ERP systems
- Strong background in chemical analysis and metallurgical lab processes
- Proven experience in implementing quality control systems in steel production
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and quality tools such as Root Cause Analysis
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Lean management experience, including 5S and Visual Management techniques
- Strong communication skills, with fluency in English (both written and spoken)
- Demonstrated experience in leading and developing quality teams
Experience Requirements
Candidates must have a minimum of 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in steel manufacturing, specifically in quality control within melt-shop or similar production environments. Leadership experience is highly preferred, as this role involves team management and strategic decision-making.
