IMI specializes in ship construction, rig building, maintenance, repair, and overhauling for offshore oil & gas, marine vessels, and related industries. Key Vacancies in Large Numbers (Saudi Arabia – Long Term)
Candidates must have proven experience in major shipyards/maritime/offshore industries (e.g., Cochin, Visakhapatnam, Gujarat, or abroad). Minimum experience requirements apply.
- Supervisors – Fabrication — Min. 15 years in Offshore Oil & Gas Construction / Shipyard / Ship Repair
- Foremen – Fabrication — Min. 12 years in Offshore Oil & Gas Construction / Shipyard / Ship Repair
- Structural Fabricators — Min. 6 years in Offshore Oil & Gas / Shipyard / Ship Repair; must read drawings, WPS, ITP, PRQ; knowledge of tolerances, fit-up, testing
- Pipe Fabricators — Min. 3–6 years in Offshore Oil & Gas / Shipyard; must read piping drawings, isometrics; safety & permit knowledge
- Electricians — Experience in shipyard wiring, fixtures, equipment installation & repairs
- Mechanics – Ship Repair — Min. 6 years in Shipyard/Ship Repair; expertise in main/auxiliary diesel engines, pumps, valves, boilers, AC plants, deck machinery, steering gear, etc.
- Structural Welder – SMAW + FCAW 6GR
- Structural Welder – FCAW 6GR
- Welders – GTAW + SMAW (CS/SS)
- Welders – SAW
These roles involve hands-on work in shipbuilding, rig construction, repair, overhauling, piping, structural fabrication, welding (CS/SS), electrical, and mechanical maintenance in a high-tech maritime yard.
