Job Requirements and Eligibility
To apply for these Saudi Arabia QC jobs, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum 6 years of total work experience
- Including at least 3 years as an inspection specialist
- Experience in oil, gas, or petrochemical projects
- Certification requirements:
- AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or
- CSWIP 3.1 Certified Welding Inspector
- Minimum 4 years of experience after certification
- Must have ASNT Level II certification in relevant NDT methods
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and codes, including:
- ASME B31.3
- ASME Section V and IX
- AWS D1.1
Note: Saudi Aramco approval and CBT are not mandatory but can be an advantage.
Job Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be responsible for:
- Inspecting welding work to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Monitoring welding procedures and documentation
- Conducting non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections
- Ensuring adherence to ASME and AWS codes
- Reporting defects and recommending corrective actions
- Supervising welding activities (for supervisory roles)
