Absolute Technical Systems LLP has announced job openings for an ADNOC shutdown project in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The project duration is three months, with vacancies for Permit Coordinators, LOTO Coordinators and SIMOPS Coordinators.
1. Permit Coordinator – 10 Vacancies
Required Qualification:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety or a relevant discipline.
- 5–8 years of experience in Permit-to-Work (PTW) coordination.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor Permit-to-Work activities.
- Ensure work permits comply with site safety procedures.
- Coordinate with operations, maintenance and safety teams.
- Verify that work activities follow approved permit conditions.
- Support safe execution of shutdown activities.
2. LOTO Coordinator – 5 Vacancies
Required Qualification:
- Diploma or ITI in Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation or an equivalent technical qualification.
- 5–8 years of experience in energy isolation and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) systems.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate equipment isolation activities.
- Ensure proper implementation of Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Verify isolation documentation and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with operations and maintenance personnel.
- Help prevent accidental equipment energization during shutdown work.
3. SIMOPS Coordinator – 5 Vacancies
Required Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering, Safety or a relevant discipline.
- 8–10 years of experience in oil and gas operations, including SIMOPS coordination.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPS) activities.
- Identify potential conflicts between concurrent work activities.
- Coordinate with operations, construction and safety teams.
- Monitor operational risks and site safety requirements.
- Support safe execution of shutdown project activities.
