1. Technical sales representative (machining and fabrication)
Salary: Negotiable
Duty hours: 8 hours per day
Job description
The company is seeking a results-driven technical sales representative to identify prospective clients, develop new business opportunities, and secure contracts from factories, contracting firms, and oil and gas or industrial sectors.
Key responsibilities
- Lead generation and prospecting: Identify potential B2B clients in manufacturing plants, maintenance workshops, construction, and oil and gas companies.
- Field sales: Visit customer sites to present machining and structural steel fabrication services to engineering and procurement teams.
- Technical consultation: Review requests for quotations (RFQs) and engineering drawings, coordinating with technical and production teams to prepare accurate estimates.
- Deal closure: Follow up on quotations, negotiate prices and delivery terms, and close contracts.
- Account management: Maintain client relationships, coordinate project delivery, and develop repeat business.
Requirements and qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in B2B industrial sales.
- Experience in machining, metalworking, or mechanical contracting is preferred.
- Ability to read basic engineering drawings and understand fabrication and machining terminology.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Valid driving licence and personal vehicle for daily field visits.
- Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage.
2. Technical cost estimator (machining and fabrication)
Salary: Negotiable
Duty hours: 8 hours per day
Job description
The company is seeking a detail-oriented technical cost estimator to review engineering drawings, calculate material and labour costs, and prepare competitive commercial and technical quotations.
Key responsibilities
- Review blueprints, engineering drawings, and client specifications to estimate material requirements.
- Calculate manufacturing costs for machining, welding, CNC operations, and surface treatments.
- Source and negotiate raw material prices with suppliers.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals in coordination with production and management teams.
- Conduct post-project cost analysis to compare estimated and actual expenses and improve pricing accuracy.
Requirements and qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, production engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in machining workshops, steel fabrication, or mechanical contracting.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and proficiency in design software and MS Excel.
- Strong numerical accuracy, analytical thinking, and time management.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
