Unique Management Consultants is recruiting candidates for a long-term oil and gas project in Qatar. The recruitment covers Radiography Protection Officers, NDT Technicians, Radiography Specialists, Permit Receivers, Document Controllers and other inspection professionals.

Candidates with relevant NDT certifications, Gulf experience and oil and gas project experience can apply for suitable positions. The recruitment includes multiple technical categories, with 110 vacancies listed for Multidiscipline NDT Technicians.

Available Positions and Vacancies

The following positions are available for the Qatar oil and gas project.

Total listed vacancies: 203. The Normal UT Phased Array position appears twice in the recruitment list, with nine vacancies under each entry. Confirm whether these are separate categories before applying.

Eligibility Criteria and Experience Requirements

Candidates must meet the qualifications, certifications and experience requirements applicable to their selected position.

1. RPO – Radiography Protection Officer

• Minimum 10 years of experience.
• RPO MOE certification experience.
• ASNT RT Level II certification.
• Ability to conduct NDE and interpret/evaluate results.
• Certification of reports to PCN/CSWIP Level II or alternatively SNT Level II.

2. Supply Assistant / Helper

• Assistant Operator qualification or certification.
• ASNT/PCN Level I certification is specified.

3. Conventional Radiography

• Approximately eight years of experience with MOE certification.
• ASNT RT Level II or III in digital radiography system/analysis.
• SCENE certificates.
• NDE result interpretation and evaluation.
• PCN/CSWIP Level II or alternatively SNT Level II certification.
• Minimum five years holding an MOE RT licence.

4. Close Proximity Radiography and Digital Radiography

• Relevant NDT qualifications.
• Appropriate professional experience in the respective inspection method.

5. Normal UT Phased Array

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Four years of formal training in relevant NDT techniques.

6. Multidiscipline NDT Technician

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent, with NDT qualifications such as PCN/ASNT.
• Experience with 10 major shutdowns, approximately 30 days each.
• Around 10 years of experience.
• PTW Level 2 and HSE learning.
• Minimum 250 CV required, as stated in the recruitment information.

7. Inspection SD Coordinator

• API 510, API 570, API 653, ASNT/PCN Level II certifications in RT, MT, PT, UT and ET, as applicable, or a relevant engineering qualification.
• Approximately 10 years of shutdown experience.
• Experience with major shutdowns.
• Manpower and equipment management experience.
• RLIC and ORYX GTL gate-pass experience.
• Minimum 20 CV required.

8. PTW Level 2 – Permit Receiver

• Diploma or industry certificate.
• Five years of experience, including two years as a supervisor.
• MS Office and English-language skills.
• PTW Level 2.
• Experience as a direct employee of an approved contractor.
• Minimum 30 CV required.

9. Document Controller / AutoCAD Draftsman

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Five years of experience.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, Visio, SharePoint and RAID.
• Experience with piping isometrics, equipment drawings and shutdown/GTL process knowledge.
• Minimum 10 CV required.

10. VBT – Vacuum Box Testing

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Four years of training in NDT Level II leak testing.
• Five years of post-qualification experience in an inspection environment.
• SNT Level III or ORYX GTL certification, as specified.
• Minimum 10 CV required.

11. PMI – Positive Material Identification

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Two years of experience as a lead and five years of PMI experience.
• ASNT Level II Visual Testing with manufacturer or third-party training.
• Minimum five CV required.

12. Hardness Testing

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Two years of experience as a lead and five years of hardness-testing experience.
• ASNT Level II Visual Testing with manufacturer or third-party training.
• Minimum five CV required.
